ESL Success Scholarship

Deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2015

Requirements:

  • Be a current Bergen Community College student (F1 and International students may apply)
  • Be enrolled in the ALP/ESL program during the current academic year
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher 
  • Have at least 6 credits completed in ALP or SPE classes

Skyler Bodek Polish Culture Award

Application Deadline: April 1, 2015

The members of the "Skyler Bodek Polish Culture Award" committee are pleased to announce that an award of $196 will be made in May to a graduating BCC student of Polish Heritage.  To apply, students must complete an application form, submit a typewritten essay of about one to two pages long to the award committee about "the meaning of Polish heritage in my life."

Requirements:

  • Be of Polish heritage
  • graduate as of August 2014, January 2015, or May 2015

Thomas J. Landers Irish Cultural Award

Application Deadline: April 1, 2015

The members of the Thomas J. Landers Irish Cultural Award committee are pleased to announce that an award of $150 will be made in May to a graduating BCC student of Irish heritage.  To apply, students must complete an application form and submit a typewritten essay of about one to two pages long to the award committee about "the meaning of Irish heritage in my life."

Requirements:

  • Be of Irish heritage
  • Graduate as of: August 2014, January 2015, or May 2015

Buildium's Build U. Scholarship

Application Deadline: April 30, 2015

Buildium's Build U. Scholarship awards one $2,500 prize each semester to the product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design Engineering, or Computer Science student who best explains how the concept of ownership is critical to building a great company.

Requirements:

  • College or university student in good standing at an accredited public or private university
  • must be enrolled in a Product Design, Interaction Design, US Design, Engineering, Or Computer Science degree program (undergraduate or graduate)
  • Student must be at least 18 years of age
  • One entry per student per semester

RE/MAX of New Jersey Scholarship

Application Deadline: April 30, 2015

"Our 2015 scholarship aims to show America the #RealNJ.  We ask you to capture the most amazing pieces of New Jersey and we ask that you do it in the medium that allows you to most effectively express yourself."

Requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an expected graduation no earlier than December 2015. (We reserve the right to verify the date of college enrollment.)

2015 Paralegal Scholarship 

Application Deadline: May 1, 2015

Moses and Rooth Attorneys at Law, a Criminal Defense Law Firm located in Orlando, Florida is offering a $500 scholarship to one incoming paralegal student or currently enrolled Paralegal Student.  Scholarship is offered for the Fall 2015 Academic Semester.

Requirements:

  • Be an incoming or currently enrolled Paralegal Student
  • Hold a 3.0 or higher overall GPA
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States

Finance or Accounting Scholarship from Common Form

Application Deadline: May 30, 2015

Requirements:

  • You are a full-time student enrolled in a two year, four year, or graduate program.
  • Your major is Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Your GPA is 3.2 or above
  • You’ve volunteered at a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization at least once in the past calendar year
  • You know the difference between a 1040EZ and a 1040 Long Form.

2015 Straight Road International Essay Contest

Application Deadline: July 31, 2015

Requirements:

  •  U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident.
  •  A senior in high school or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior enrolled in an official undergraduate program of study  for the fall 2015 semester.
  • Currently enrolled in or attending an accredited school within the United States, or operated overseas by the U.S. government, for the fall 2015 semester.
