"The Carole Gavin Scholarship project ties directly to the International Service Project - Conquering Cancer. This is a great way to get your chapter involved."
-- Warren Jackson

The Carole Gavin scholarship initiative provides a form of expression whereby members can articulate their experiences with cancer. The winning essays will be posted on this site following the 2003 International Convention. If your life has in some way been touched by cancer, and if you are continuing your education in the 2003-2004 academic year, you are encouraged to enter.

Chapters that participate in raising money will directly support the general membership as the project's scholarship fund distributes back every dollar received. The goal is four $1,000 scholarships; yet, there is no limit as a new scholarship is created every time an additional $1,000 is raised.

The service project, Conquering Cancer, is ambitious and the ways to help are numerous. For additional information on the International Service project visit the International Web site.
