We are proud of our relationship with the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. The Carole Bear sells for $64, of which 20% of the purchase price will be donated directly to the Carole Gavin Scholarship Fund. Shipping charges are extra and are of course not included within the contribution. She is shipped in a wonderful bear box; one complete with air hole. Bring your Carole bear to the 2003 Phi Theta Kappa International Convention!
Andrew Wallace, Alpha Epsilon Phi Vice President of Leadership will be taking pictures for this Web site at the 2003 convention in Anaheim. There will be at least one entire page devoted to Carole Bear shots. A notice will be posted on the message board regarding times for a group shot; although most photos will be taken at random. We hope everyone brings their Carole Bear!
How to order your Carole Bear
To order a Carole Bear, you may call the Vermont Teddy Bear Company toll-free at 888-935-2327. It is very important that you provide the bear counselor with the special Carole Bear code "PTK" in order to guarantee that your 20% donation is made to the Gavin Scholarship Fund. You may also choose to visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Company's Website at www.vtbear.com where you can find Carole and her hundreds of friends.
Once you complete your order, the Vermont Teddy Bear Company will confirm it if you supply them with an e-mail address. E-mail your order confirmation number to us at GavinScholarship@bergen.edu to have your name, chapter or organization listed on the "Carole We Bought a Bear" page of this Web site. If you do not have an e-mail, just send us a copy of your Vermont Teddy Bear label of the bear box to Professor Robert Saldarini, Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey 07652. |
