How has your English Basic Skills class helped you write better in other classes?
The English Basic Skills class that I took in my first semester attending Bergen Community College has helped me in ways classes in high school couldn't even compare. I believe the most important thing that the class taught me this semester is how to write MLA documentation for my future research papers.

What do you feel EBS students need to do in order to be successful in their EBS classes?
The technique and strategies I used in order to be successful in class were starting the work on time, such as essays, group activities, and research papers. It's a lot of writing and critical thinking so you need a good time span to get the work done. Use your time wisely.

What is your advice to future EBS students?
For the future EBS students, I would like to give some pointers for doing well in the class. First off, I know it's hard getting to school sometimes, either it's morning traffic or you just had a rough night before, but you have to make every effort to attend class every day. The reason for this is because every day there are always new assignments or you have to get work done with your group. When I first started this course, I didn't believe how much work was due by the end of the semester. I'm a freshman in college so I guess there's a little getting used to.
