Degrees: BA in Psychology and English; MA in Reading; M.Ed in Critical Thinking (2002) all from Montclair State University; Certified Developmental Education Specialist from the Kellogg Institute

Courses Taught: All levels of EBS, Comp I and II

Organizations: NADE, NJADE, NYSCLA, CRLA

Special Interests: Literacy, Theatre (Acting), Spirituality and Church Community Activities, Pet Adoption and the Protection of Animals, Felines, Travel, Arts and Crafts, etc.

Philosophy of Teaching: Adoption of an active learning approach that focuses on strengthening reading, writing and especially critical thinking skills should be the goal of a student who wishes to be an independent learner. My goal, as instructor, is to help guide them in this direction, inspire the life long learning process and fill their "educational toolbox."
