Meeting deadlines is important to ensure consideration for all financial aid programs you may be eligible to receive.

Complete your FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov  (school code – 004736)

JUNE 1st, 2011

2011-12 HESAA Deadline to receive New Jersey State Aid (TAG, EOF, & NJSTARS).  Continuing student’s FAFSA must be completed by this date.
AUGUST 22nd, 2011
Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals for the Fall 2011 Semester
 OCTOBER 1st, 2011
 
2011-12 HESAA Deadline to receive New Jersey State Aid (TAG, EOF, & NJSTARS) for Fall & Spring.  New student’s FAFSA must be completed by this date.
NOVEMBER 15th, 2011
HESAA Deadline to make corrections for Fall & Spring.
DECEMBER 16th, 2011
Direct Loan Application Deadline for Fall Only.

VERIFICATION SELECTION - Students selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education will be notified through their Bergen e-mail and Web Advisor accounts.  All documentation requested must be submitted within 15 days of notification.  Failure to submit the documentation in the requested time frame will delay the review of your documents.
 
TUITION & FEES RESPONSIBILITY - It is the student’s responsibility to pay all tuition and fees by the payment due date.  Failure to make payment or to make payment arrangements by the due date will result in your class registration being cancelled and/or additional charges being incurred.  Please access your Web Advisor account for current information on your tuition and fees.   For general information regarding your tuition bill visit the Bursar’s webpage at http://www.bergen.edu/bursar
 
PAYMENT PLAN - Bergen Community College offers a tuition payment plan administered by Sallie Mae®.  To enroll go to http://tuitionpay.salliemae.com/bergen
 
OFFICIAL WITHDRAWAL - If you decide not to attend BCC, you must officially withdraw from all registered classes.  Students who do not officially withdraw from classes by the deadline dates as published by the Registrar’s office will incur a financial obligation to the college and will be responsible for all outstanding charges.  For further information, please visit the Registrar’s website at http://www.bergen.edu/registration
