New Pathways to Teaching Tuition

You may take New Pathways to Teaching for either Graduate Credit or Non-Credit. If taken for graduate credit, the credits may used towards a Master of Arts degree in Education at New Jersey City University. Click on Masters programs at NJCU. Whether you take New Pathways for graduate credit or non-credit, you still obtain the necessary coursework to receive teacher certification in the state of New Jersey.Tuition is due at the time of registration.

Stage I-Graduate Credit (4 credits)-$2,943 + $25 transcript fee

Stage II-Graduate Credit ( 11 credits)- $5,887

Stage I-Certification Only (non-credit)-$1,300

Stage II- Certification Only (non-credit)-$2,400

45 Hour Literacy/Math Programs

Literacy: 3 Graduate Credits - $1,607*

Math: 3 Graduate Credits-$1,607*

Literacy: Non-credit - $800

Math: Non-credit - $800

*An additional $25 one time transcript fee will be collected from each non-NPTNJ credit student, all of which is due to New Jersey City University. If students take both the NPTNJ Literacy and the NPTNJ Math programs they will pay only one transcript fee.
