What doesthe College Council do?
Building on the good foundation set by the Interim Council, the CollegeCouncilreviews and makes recommendations on issues of college-wide importance.The College Council isa conduit for referring concerns of campus constituencies to the President.All Councilmeetings areopen to the campus community and provide an opportunity for concerned campus citizens to give input.
What didthe Interim Council do?
The interim College Council worked to flesh out the recommendations of the governance study group.One work groupdrafted aconstitution for the Council.Another work groupdeveloped nomination and election procedures.The sub-committees worked to consider and definethe specifics of their responsibilities and considered how best to coordinate with existing college departments and committees.
