Bergen Wins Mental Health Stigma Ambassador Award

Bergen Community College was chosen as the recipient of the first NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma Ambassador Award in the Education Category. The NJ Governor’s Council on Mental Health selected Bergen Community College’s Wellness Centerwith this prestigious award,for the collaborative effort of the mental health program Stamp Out Stigma (S.O.S.) held at Bergen Community on April 16, 2008.

The Award reception was held on May 22, 2008 at the Marriott Lafayette Yard in Trenton and was presented by Celina Gray, Executive Director of NJ Governor's Council on Mental Health Stigma. The Mental Health Stigma Ambassador Award was accepted by Professor Kathy Pignatelli, Director of the Wellness Center of Bergen Community College.
