Wimba Voice Tools

Give your web based classes a voice!

Perfect for language learning and creating vocal exercises in any subject, Wimba Voice Tools facilitates and promotes vocal instruction, collaboration, coaching, and assessment. These web based voice tools help to increase the interaction and student engagement level of any online class by allowing faculty and students to easily embed vocal interactions in their WebCT courses.

How do I get started?

  1. View Demo sessionsor request a one-on-one training sesion by emailing citl@bergen.edu.
  2. Have a WebCT course shell to record and reply to voice messages in the course. If you do not have a course in WebCT submit a course shell request form.
  3. Check Technical Requirements to make sure your home computer uses a supported Operating System, Browsers, Java versions and meets the System Requirements for Wimba Voice.
  4. Call the Help Desk X7109 to run the Set Up Wizard on your office computer.
  5. Request activation of Wimba Voice Tools in your course byemailing citl@bergen.edu. You should have completed the training before requesting activation of voice tools in your WebCT Course.
