The Pitkin Education Center

The Winifred M. and George P. Pitkin Foundationdonated$1 million in the name of Drs. Winifred and George Pitkin, pioneers in the field of anesthesia, to expand the training of science and health care professionals attending BergenCommunity College.In recognition of this significant contribution, the largest gift in BCC history, the college’s main academic building was renamed the PitkinEducationCenter. This “megastructure” houses the Science and Business wings as well as the Library, the CollegeCenter, the gymnasium and pool and the Administrative wing of the college campus.
