CE 851 One Stroke™ Painting - Beginner$125Students provide their own painting “surface.” Options will be discussed in class. Complete set of supplies (for entire series) consisting of: 14 2-oz. paints; 10 Folk Art One Stroke™ brushes; 8 Reusable training guides; 1 brush basin can be purchased from instructor for $46.00 (one time fee). Bring paper towels and foam plates to class and wear painting clothes. Each course meets for four sessions. Please register early, seating is limited.

Students learn how care for brushes, how to properly load brushes for blending, shading and highlighting all in one stroke, how to paint wildflowers, grass, thistle and moss. Discover how to shade and highlight. Also learn to paint vines, leaves and five petal flowers.

The art of Glass Etching has taken a new direction in recent years. With this course, and absolutely no previous experience in Glass Etching, you will learn how to etch and personalize glassware with elegant designs and decorative embellishments that will add an element of romance and a level of professionalism to your finished projects. You will learn to create designs using different etching

methods, techniques and stencils. At the end of this course, you will take home a piece of art which you have created.

CE 764 Aesthetics of Photography(10 sessions)$250

Learn the basics and beyond. Discover your own form of expression in photography. Learn the technical tools that will best enable you to achieve compelling photographs. Among photographic genres to be explored are nature, street and travel photography. Bring a 35mm camera with manual control option to class, (single lens reflex digital camera acceptable). Students are required to shoot several rolls of film during the length of the course.Required text: New Introductory Photography Course, John Hedgecoe.

This course is designed to inform present and potential home or condominium owners and renters of insurance coverage purchase options. It also investigates determinants that insurers use to set premium costs. In addition, it will define insurance language and riders applied to the policy strategies. At the conclusion of this program you will be able to make intelligent coverage choices to fit your individual needs as well as know how to employ proper procedures to insure a successful recovery from peril loss.

A copy of “The Pocket Guide to Homeowner and Renter Insurance NJ Edition” will be provided. It includes a New Jersey State Directory to State agencies as well as other consumer entities that address consumer needs and/or assist in the resolution of complaints that may occur during the purchase of homeowner coverage or the rebuilding process. CE 865 Investment Strategies for Individual Investors (2 sessions)$40

The program will provide the tools and investment strategies to build or evaluate a portfolio geared to your risk tolerance and market objectives. We will discuss stock and mutual fund selection, cash flow vs. total return, advantages of exchange traded (ETF) and Star analysis, dividend growth strategy, tax efficient investing, portfolios for Bull & Bear markets, impact that high interest rates and energy costs have on marketing valuations, and a review of the fundamentals of stock analysis.
