Dependents

If you are bringing any dependents to the United States, they must have their own I-20.

The F-1 visa holdermust prove financial capability in order to bring them to the USA by proving $8,000 fora spouse, and $4,000 for each child.

Please note that F2 spouses cannot work while in the USA. F-2 visa holders should not study at the College-level.
