DinoRock Book of Wooorld Records

Presenting “musical adventures of prehistoric proportions,” DinoRock is the missing link in children’s entertainment, featuring lively original music, giant dinosaur puppets and sing-along lessons about dinosaurs, ecology and natural history. Puppeteer Ingrid Crepeau and singer-songwriter Michele Valeri have been honored by the Emmy Awards, Parent’s Choice magazine and the American Library Association for their work. Exploration is the name of the game, as DinoRock’s Book of Wooorld Records brings together recordholding creatures from the Mesozoic Era. Join the DinoRockers at their library to find out and unearth the newest info about nature’s own al life monsters, the dinosaurs

Ballet Fiesta Mexicana ~Crossroads~

Crossroads is a production of New York’s renowned Thalia Spanish Theatre, featuring the live music of “SEMILLA,” the New York debut of a pre-Hispanic ballet, and a suite of dances with music by Juan Gabriel. A traditional dance extravaganza celebrating Mexico's history, diversity & beauty, this stunning new production, Crossroads, bursts with life, color and lavish costumes. Join this musical journey along Mexico’s many splendid roads, showcasing Mexican and Spanish Flamenco fusions, Danza Azteca, Jarabe Tapatio, music from Yucatan and Jalisco as well as dances from Oaxaca’s colorful “Guelaguetza.” Presented in commemoration of Latino Heritage Week – call (201) 447-7215 for a detailed calendar of related events.

Pro Arte Chorale ~ Choral Classics

Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Ciccone Theatre

The renowned Pro Arte Chorale will perform some choral favorites including Schubert’s Mass in G, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Vivaldi’s Magnificat. The performance features winners from the Pro Arte Chorale’s 2006 College Soloist Competition, so you won’t want to miss it! Celebrating its 43rd Season, the Pro Arte Chorale has appeared at Carnegie Hall, LincolnCenter, NJPAC, and other major venues. Their performances are made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. Pro Arte is an Honorary Resident Arts Organization at Bergen Community College
