Medical ParkingGuidelines for Temporary Medical Parking An application must be completed with a doctor's note stating the medical condition that necessitates Temporary Medical Parking. The application is available in the Health Services Office, HS-100, in the Pitkin Education Center. The medical permit can be issued for up to six weeks. It can be considered for renewal for an additional six weeks maximum with additional documentation. The medical permit allowsindividuals to park in parking spaces designated "Medical Parking".
The permit does NOT allow parking in thosespaces designated as "State Handicap" parking.An employee or student with a long term handicap or disability should apply for a NJ or NY handicap plate or placard. Temporary disability status can be applied for at your local Police Department. - You must have a Bergen Community College decal on your car before you can apply for a Medical Parking Permit.
- You must bring your decal number, license plate number, and a note from your Doctor when you apply for the parking permit.
- Parking permit requests must be done in person in the Health Services Office in Room HS-100.
