Satisfactory Academic Progress
Dear Student:
In order to receive Financial Aid a student must be making satisfactory academic progress. These standards, as adopted by the College, conform to the federal and state regulations. Poor grades, failures and withdrawal from courses (both officially and unofficially) can adversely affect your eligibility for Financial aid assistance.
All students who wish to receive financial aid must meet the college requirements for Satisfactory or Conditional Academic Standing and Academic Probation as outlined in the college catalog. These Regulations pertain primarily to a student's qualitative progress as measured by their Grade Point Average.
Students who are suspended or dismissed from the College for failure to meet these regulations will not be Eligible for Financial Aid.

Students, who fail to meet the academic standards of progress because of extenuating circumstances, may submit there appeal forms to the office of Financial Aid, which will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Appeals Committee. You can pick up a form at the Financial Aid Office in room L-123.
