Voicemail

Cisco Unity Voicemail, BCC's current voicemail system, provides members of the campus community with a customizable interface for working with voicemail over our converged network.

The BCC 7940/7960 User Guide provides basic information for working with Cisco Unity voicemail.

Cisco Unity Voicemail can be accessed from atelephone or from BCC Email

Accessing Voicemail through a Telephone

From your Office Telephone

  • Press Messages button for Voicemail or Dial 1000
  • Enter yourVoicemail Password when Prompted

From a Remote Telephone

  • Dial your full telephone number.
  • When you hear your personal greeting, Press the * key.
  • When prompted, enter your ID, which is your 4-digit extension, followed by the # key.
  • When prompted, enter yourVoicemail Password.

Accessing Voicemail through BCC email

You can check voice and email messages from your Outlook Inbox. Voice messages received at your telephone extension will display a unique icon to distinguish them from email messages.

Double Click on a Voicemail message and click the PLAY button to listen to a message

Voicemail messages can be accessed through Outlook Web Access by downloading the WAV attachments and playing them on your local system.
