How to Change your BCC Domain Password
As part of Bergen Community College security policies, domain passwords must be changed once every 60 days. The domain password is used to access BCC email and to logon to your pc each day. COMMON QUESTIONS How often does my domain password expire? What if I forget my password? How do I reset my password from my BCC computer on campus? How do I reset my password from home? Password Requirements Passwords must be 6 characters or more in length and must contain characters from ALL of the following categories: ·Uppercase Characters (A through Z) ·Lowercase characters (a through z) ·Numerical digits (0 through 9) Passwordsshould not contain your username or any part of your full name How often does my domain password expire?OIT has set passwords to expire every 60 days. Whenever your domain password expires, you will be prompted on your screen to change it when logging into a Bergen Community College owned computer. What if I forget my password?If you do not remember your password or you wish to have your password reset, please contact the BCC Help Desk at 201.447.7109, option 1. Please make sure you have your BCC Identification handy. How do I reset my password from my BCC computer on campus?You can reset your password from your computeron campusfollowing these steps: 1. Logon to your computer as you normally would each day with your Current Domain Password 2. Once you are logged on, press Ctr + Alt + Del on your keyboard 
3. Click Change Password Button 
4. When Prompted enter: Your Old Password Your New Password Retype your New Password Remember passwords must be 6 characters or more in length and must contain characters from ALL of the following categories: Uppercase Characters (A through Z) Lowercase characters (a through z) Numerical digits (0 through 9)

How do I reset my password from home?If you would like to change your password from a computer that is not at BCC please follow these steps using any computer with a internet connection 2.Login with your current domain password 
3. After logging in, click the "Options" button on the bottom of the left side of your screen: 
4. Scroll down and click on the Change Password button 
5. Enter the following information when prompted: oDomain = ADMIN_NT oAccount = The same as your username (example:llbrown) oYour Old Password oYour New Password oRetype your New Password 
Click OK to accept the changes Your password has been successfully changed!!
