I just registered, why can't I login to my course?
|
You will be unable to access your course until the first day of class. Please try again at that time. If you have registered late, it will take 1 business day to be sure that you have been added to the Moodle course you registered for.
In Moodle your username is your webadvisor id. Your password is up to first 8 letters of your last name followed by last 4 digits of your BCC ID#. Type the first initial of your last name in uppercase. Example: John O'Shaughnessy & BCC ID# 1071234 = OShaughn1234.
Please note special characters like, spaces, hyphens and apostrophe are not included in your password. Any capital letter after the first character in the last name should be typed in uppercase in the password.

About one week before the beginning of the semester, you will receive an email with login instructions, including information about your username and password. To access your student email go to http://www.bergen.edu/documents/OIT/FAQs/Access_Student_Email.pdf.
A paper copy will also be sent to your home address. (If your email address or home address has changed, please go into WebAdvisor and update your record or email regoffice@bergen.edu with the new information. If you register after class has begun, you will receive an email within 24 hours with your username and password. |

To access your course in Moodle open a browser and type the web site address http://moodle.bergen.edu. There are several ways you can deal with spyware once you have it on your computer. There are also some things you can do to prevent getting spyware on your computer. You can use software designed to remove spyware, such as Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware is available as freeware and can be found at http://www.lavasoftusa.com. |

If you have a popup blocker installed on your computer, please adjust it to allow content from the http://moodle.bergen.edu website since it prevents Moodle from operating correctly. To allow pop-ups in Firefox, visit Firefox support page. To turn off pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer, visit IE support page. |
