Manager of Facilities Operations

The Manager of Facilities Operations will provide facilities/maintenance services and supervises Buildings and Grounds employees at the Meadowlands facility in Lyndhurst, NJ.Duties include hands-on management for troubleshooting HVAC systems, including diagnosis, repair and replacing components of overall system, general plumbing and electrical maintenance; assessment of the need for outside vendors and if necessary, initiate the process and manage that assistance; coordinates the custodial services, such as cleaning of washrooms, windows, doors, floors, walls, exterior elements, miscellaneous spills, movement of furniture, grounds keeping, etc.; inspect and ensure the assigned tasks are completed correctly; orders equipment parts and supplies; maintains inventory;effectively utilizes computers in the performance of duties; and performs other duties as assigned.

Required:
High School diploma or equivalent; NJ Certified HVAC/Refrigeration; Five years experience with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems; Three – five years supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license required.Hands-on manager with ability to lead team; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to utilize computers for email, work requisitions and projects.Must have effective supervisory skills and experience.
