ESTIMATED FINANCIAL AID AWARDS 

An Estimated Financial Aid Award for the 2010/2011 academic year will be offered to students upon receipt of all requested documentation to this office.  This award will be tentative, pending review of the submitted documentation.  Some awards are contingent upon receipt of funds from federal and state sources. 

Students may apply for a Federal Direct Loan by following the instructions on our website at www.bergen.edu/financialaid.

Students may attend classes and will receive a book voucher if eligible.

After review of the submitted paperwork, your awards will be finalized.  If any of the information submitted on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is incorrect your awards may be adjusted.  Reduction in awards may result in an outstanding tuition balance which will become the student’s responsibility to pay in full.

You may review your award online using WebAdvisor or by clicking on “Account Summary” at go.bergen.edu.  You may also use WebAdvisor to track any future changes/adjustments to your award or financial aid status.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you decide not to attend BCC, you must officially withdraw.  Students who do not officially withdraw from classes by the deadline dates as published by the Registrar’s Office will incur a financial obligation to the college and will be responsible for all outstanding charges.  For further information please visit the Registrar’s website at www.bergen.edu/registration.
