A. PRIORITY FILING DEADLINE to submit a 2010-2011 FAFSA:
May 1st 2010
B. Deadline to submit a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal:
FALL 2010 = August 13th
SPRING 2011 = December 1st
C. Verification Documents submitted by June 1st 2010 will be processed for completion and an e-mail notification will be sent within 3 to 4 weeks. No aid, including loans, can be processed until your file is complete.
D. IF YOU FAIL TO:
1. Submit a 2010-2011 FAFSA by the priority deadline date [May 1, 2010]
2. Submit 2010-2011 Verification Documents/requested documentation by the deadline date [June 1, 2010]
3. Submit a 2010-2011 SAP Appeal by the deadline date [August 13, 2010 or December 1, 2010]
THEN YOU MUST:
Go to the Bursars Office to make a payment in full or sign up for the payment plan to guarantee your classes will not be dropped for non-payment -- YOU ARE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR CLASSES YOU REGISTERED FOR!
E. If you decide not to attend, you must withdraw from all courses before the start of the term at the Registrar’s Office.
F. The following does not relieve you of your financial responsibility and financial aid may not be granted for the following:
- Failure to attend classes
- Failure to make a payments on the payment plan (if you sign up for the payment plan)
- Failure to complete the financial aid process
- Classes held due to Financial Aid protects or pending Financial Aid
Do NOT assume your classes will be dropped for nonpayment !!!
