Office of Information Technology (OIT) The Bergen Community College Office of Information Technology (OIT) is dedicated to enabling the College not only to achieve, but to exceed, its institutional goals through the effective application and use of the appropriate technologies and technological resources. OIT is pleased to provide the faculty, staff, and administration of Bergen Community College with knowledgeable, creative technological leadership and dependable, mission-critical support services essential to the growth and maintenance of an information technology infrastructure supporting the College's academic programs, classrooms, computer labs, administrative functions, and support activities. In addition to overall information technology management, OIT also comprises the following departments: - Help Desk/User Services - provides computer hardware and software support and advisory services for the College community.
- Enterprise Resource Planning - provides support services for the Colleague (DataTel) and WebAdvisor systems on campus.
- Network Services - provides support and advisory services for the College's computer and telecommunications networks, Internet connectivity, e-mail, and on-campus telephone systems.
- Web Services - provides management and support for the College's Web sites, administrative services for the College's Sharepoint intranet, and information architecture advisory services for those in the College community desiring a new Web presence or enhancing an existing Web presence on the Bergen web site.
