Processing your Application for Financial Aid
If the Department of Education selects your FAFSA for verification, you will receive a notice asking you (and possibly your parents) to submit additional documentation to the College. The College may also ask you for proof of citizenship.
Once all of the requested information is received by the College, we will send you an award notice explaining your financial aid offer. Or you can review your award letter via WebAdvisor go.bergen.edu
If you want to have your financial aid available before payment is due, we recommend that you register for classes after receiving your financial aid award letter.
The application process can take up to six weeks, so file your FAFSA and submit any additional documentation requested by the College in accordance with the following priority dates.
See FAFSA Priority Dates.
