COURSE TITLE: LET’S TALK - Part 1
COURSE NUMBER: AL 496
This 60-hour course is designed to provide ESL students with better pronouncing, speaking, and listening skills while increasing their vocabulary. Discussion of a wide variety of practical and current subjects encourages students to express their feelings, ideas, and opinions. Conversation and discussion form the basis of weekly assignments. There is also a 12 hour self-study CD with listening exercises designed for students' individual time. Pre-requisite: Students enrolling in this course must have completed and passed AL 513, ESL Beginning II, or must have tested at this level.

COURSE NUMBER: AL 497
This 60-hour course is designed to provide ESL students with better pronouncing, speaking, and listening skills while increasing their vocabulary. Discussion of a wide variety of practical and current subjects encourages students to express their feelings, ideas, and opinions. Conversation and discussion form the basis of weekly assignments. There is also a 12 hour self-study CD with listening exercises designed for students' individual time. Pre-requisite: Students enrolling in this course must have completed and passed AL 496, Let’s Talk – Part 1; AL 493, ESL Intermediate II; or must have tested at this level.

This 60-hour course is designed to provide ESL students with better pronouncing, speaking, and listening skills while increasing their vocabulary. There is also a 12 hour self-study CD with listening exercises designed for students' individual time. Pre-requisite: Students enrolling in this course must have completed and passed AL 497, Let’s Talk – Part 2; AL 495, Advanced ESL; or must have tested at this level.

Please register for classes in person at the Ciarco Learning Center 355 Main Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Center is open from 8:30AM to 9:00PM Monday through Thursday and from 8:30AM to 5:00PM on Friday.
