Areas of Interest: Although my students laugh at me when I draw on the board, I have two degrees in fine arts and have exhibited my work at a number of galleries. My main areas are sculpture and photography.

I am also active in an organization called LIGHT (Long Island Greyhound Transfer), which works to find loving homes for ex-racing greyhounds and to educate the public about their suitability as pets. I adopted a greyhound named “Stormy,” who used to race at a track in New Hampshire.
