The following are the current major responsibilities of the Office of Research and Planning.
Prepare annual statistical reports, such as: Fact Book
Graduate Follow-up Survey Report
Prepare semester statistical reports, such as: Enrollment Data
Enrollment Profile Course Enrollments
Conduct surveys and other studies on topics of special interest to the College, such as: Noel-Levitz – Student Satisfaction Inventory
Noel Levitz – Institutional Priorities Survey Graduate Follow-up Survey
Prepare statistical reports/data bases for external agencies, such as:
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Middle States Commission on Higher Education The Student Unit Record Enrollment (SURE ) System
New Jersey Commission on Higher Education New Jersey Council of County Colleges
Provide technical assistance to college wide assessment and evaluation efforts by:
Assisting in the creation of the research design
Reviewing survey questions
Assisting in the creation of scannable survey forms
Assisting in the administration and scanning of completed forms
Assisting in the analysis and interpretion of the results
Provide support for Program Review process for academic departments.
Facilitate, coordinate and monitor the College's planning process.
Provide support for accreditation studies at the college and program level.
Respond to ad hoc requests for information and analysis by administrative and academic departments.
Provide technical and research support to administrative offices such as Admissions, EOF, Financial Aid, Certification, Testing and Counseling.
Disseminate information about the college through formal oral and written presentations, as well as participation on committees.
Provide leadership in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of institutional data, research and dissemination of information about the College.
