Professional counselors offer a wide variety of services for Bergen Community College students. They can help students deal with personal problems, explore educational goals, and acquire the tools necessary for student success.
The Counseling Center, located in Room A-118, is a place for you to ask questions, reflect on the direction of your life, or seek help with course selection, choice of curriculum, finding the right four-year college, deciding whether or not to drop a course, or developing better study skills. The Counseling Center may be the place for you to go if you need to discuss any problem with a professional counselor in a confidential setting.
The Counseling Center is generally open Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., when classes are in session.The office is closed on Fridays during the summer.

During Late Registration periods, the Counseling Center is generally open from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; this may change according to the published registration schedule. During Late Registration periods, Counselors are available on a walk-in basis.
