| The Mathematics and Computer Science Department offers a comprehensive selection of developmental and college-level courses in mathematics and computer science, which are readily transferable to other institutions. The department offers concentrations in mathematics and computer science within the AS degree program, and a certificate program in computer science. In addition to traditional modes of instruction, several courses are offered on-line, while others have computer-assisted components. The department also offers several honors courses and designated sections of developmental courses specifically designed for learning disabled students. There is a full complement of support services, including tutoring, a learning laboratory, and a mathematics resource room. |
