Reflexology can be used to relieve painful sensations, instill feelings of relaxation, and speed recovery from injury or illness. Reflexology is based on the principle that applying pressure to the 26 pressure points, or points of power, found on the hands and feet stimulates or depresses the organs, controls the release of hormones, and enhances cardiovascular performance. Reflexology can help you lose weight, strengthen your immune system, control stress, and improve overall health and well-being. Reflexologists provide services in a number of professional settings. This comprehensive 45-hour course teaches students the principles of reflexology that promote healing.
