AutoCAD
AIA Provider. Bergen Community College is registered as a Premier provider with the American Institute of Architects, Continuing Education System (AIA/CES). We are committed to offering quality education in accordance with the AIA/CES criteria. (Provider #F162).
These programs meet the AIA/CES criteria for Quality Level II. AIA members will receive the appropriate Learning Units, which will be reported directly to the AIA/CES.
CC 407 AutoCAD 2008 - Level I 12 hours $220 (12 AIA Learning Units) Prepare two-dimensional drawing for architectural, mechanical, engineering and other design projects. Set up limits, scale, grids and snap. Practice methods of drawing lines, circles, arcs, and other geometry. Learn Editing, Layering, Creating text and basic Printing Concepts. Includes free lab time, but no book.

CC 422 AutoCAD 2008 - Level II 12 hours $220 (12 AIA Learning Units) Learn Advance Editing, Text and Block. Drawing exercises follow each topic. The fee includes free lab time, but no book. Prerequisite: AutoCAD Level I or equivalent experience.

CC 423 AutoCAD - Level III 12 hours $220 (12 AIA Learning Units) Addresses the creation of Viewports and Layouts tabs (Paper Space vs. Model space) and all related commands. Drawings which use multiple scale factors benefit from this process. Other topics include the use of XREFs in conjunction with layouts and an introduction to 3D drawing. Free lab time available. Prerequisite: AutoCAD Level I.

THE WEEKEND PHOTOGRAPHER
This series is designed to give aid, comfort and know-how to the person with a digital camera, basic computer skills, and a desire to take pictures of family, travels and occasions. Choose any or all of the five Saturday morning classes. Bring your own camera if you wish. All classes are hands on.

The Internet and electronics have taken the world by storm. The average person must learn four to five technologiesto get through the day. The purpose of this class is to help “non-techies” learn to use personal electronic products effectively. Feel free to bring your electronic device with you to class.
