A B C's of Transfer

A:  Plan to stay at Bergen for at least a year. This way you will be evaluated for admission based on the grades you earn at Bergen, not on your SAT’s and high school record.

Better yet, consider earning an AA or AS transfer degree.

B  Complete any basic skills courses you have not been placed in. It will cost you less money to take them here, and they will be prepare you to succeed in college credit courses.

C  Select “General Education” courses in your first two semesters and you will be unlikely to go wrong. These courses transfer to most colleges, in New Jersey and throughout the USA. Academic Counselors in Room A-118 can answer any questions you may have and will help you select your courses for the first two semesters.
