Project Director, Ciarco Learning Center

Successful candidate will work to provide daily operational oversight to ensure implementation of the project’s activities and goals, recommends solutions to problems and maintains relationships with Partner Agency staff, state grant liaisons, and project staff to provide overall direction and leadership. Oversee the scheduling of Adult Basic Education, ESL and Civics education classes and delivery of instruction, maintain institutional and state databases, supervise part-time administrative and clerical staff, and ensure fiscal and instructional integrity and accountability in use of a large grant funded by the State Dept of Labor. 

 

Additional responsibilities including coordinating activities of programs via on/off site locations within three municipalities, as well as prepare and submit all grant related fiscal and programmatic reports within parameters of monthly deadlines.

 

Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field required; Master’s in Education or related field preferred. Administrative experience, including supervisory experience in higher education and strong staff management and development skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Datatel knowledge a plus.
