Anticipated Adjunct Position Openings - Fall 2009

Listed below are anticipated adjunct position openings for Fall 2009. Both day and evening classes are available.
American Language Program/ESL:
Qualifications: Master’s degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics. Experience teaching ESL (grammar, reading, writing, speaking/listening) at the college level. Day and evening classes at our Hackensack location.
American Sign Language:
Qualifications: Master's degree in American Sign Language or Deaf Studies. Classes at our Lyndhurst location.
Developmental Math:
Qualifications: Master's degree in Math, Math Education or related field. Demonstrated ability to teach basic math and algebra. Teaching assignment at our Lyndhurst location.
English Basic Skills:
Qualifications: Master’s degree in English, English Education, Composition/Rhetoric or related field. Some college teaching experience preferred. Day and evening classes at our Lyndhurst location.
English Composition & Literature:
Qualifications: Master’s degree in English, Composition/Rhetoric or related field. Some college teaching experience preferred. Day and evening classes at our Lyndhurst location.
Geography:
Qualifications: Master's degree in Geography. Classes at our Lyndhurst location.
Japanese:
Qualifications: Master's degree in Japanese Language or Japanese Literature. Classes at our Lyndhurst location.
Spanish:
Qualifications: Master's degree in Spanish Language or Spanish Literature. Classes at our Paramus location.
Speech Communication:
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Communications or related discipline with at least one year’s teaching experience in the areas of Public Speaking, Interpersonal Skills, and Group Dynamics. Teaching assignment may be at either our Lyndhurst or Hackensack location.
