Our Locations

Bergen maintains three academic facilities: its main campus (400 Paramus Road, Paramus); the Philip J. Ciarco Jr. Learning Center (355 Main Street, Hackensack); and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands (1280 Wall Street West, Lyndhurst).

Main Campus

  • Opened in 1968.
  • Spans 167 acres in Paramus.
  • Houses academic facilities such as West Hall, which opened in 2007 and includes professional video, audio and computer equipment; the building also has an art gallery.
  • Under the Office of Community and Cultural Affairs, the College offers a full range of world-class performing arts, celebrity, entertainment and cultural events at the Ciccone Theatre.
  • The College enrolls 235 NJ STARS students. These students graduated in the top 20 percent of their high school class and receive free tuition as part of the statewide initiative.

Ciarco Learning Center

  • Opened in 1970.
  • Through both open enrollment and customized training, 4,433 students attend classes at the Center.
  • The Center provides not only college-level classes, but a GED attainment program and English-as-a-Second-Language courses.

Bergen at the Meadowlands

  • Opened in 2008, currently serves nearly 1,000 students.
  • Provides continuing education, workforce development and creditbearing courses.
  • Houses the College’s winterim session.
