SGC Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

    1. What is the Student Government Council?
      The Student Government Council (SGC) is the voice of the governing body for Bergen Community College students. The Council exists of an Executive Board, Senators and a representative from each student club and organization
       
    2. What does the SGC do?
      The SGC plays an active role in shared governance of Bergen Community College. It serves as a link between the student body and the college administration and oversees the administrative aspects of clubs and organizations.
       
    3. What are the roles of a Senator?
      The role of a Senator is to attend all meetings that the organization has. These meetings are very important because it is your chance to find out what is going on in the organization, to voice your opinions, and to meet with all your fellow SGC members at once.
       
    4. What do I have to do in order to report a problem?
      Write an email to the President or fill out the Feedback form
