Message from the Director

Welcome to Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands!

I am very excited to have joined the team as leader of the College’s newest location this past July, after having spent and enjoyed two and a half years directing activities and providing wonderful educational opportunities at the College’s Ciarco Center in Hackensack. I am both honored and eager to work with former colleagues and students, and to meet and serve many new ones as well in southern Bergen County!

While I was Director in Hackensack I had the good fortune to both watch and participate with pride in the rapid growth of the Meadowlands location, from the time it was no larger than a handful of classrooms in a corporate office space, brought to life by earnest students and a very talented team of faculty and administrative staff. Today, as Interim Director of Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands, I am poised to help lead it through its next phase of exhilarating growth – as we open our newly renovated first, third and fourth floors, and double in size and vitality!  

These past few years have marked an incredible time at Bergen Community College – not only in the Meadowlands, but throughout the entire Bergen County community -- and the next few years promise to be nothing short of extraordinary! 

Please look over our greatly expanded slate of course offerings, check out our special programs and initiatives, get to know Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands, and take full advantage of the terrific and affordable educational opportunities we have for you – in our convenient location and beautifully renovated, state-of-the art space. You will easily see what a valuable resource we have become.

I look forward to meeting and serving you personally, and along with the Meadowlands faculty and staff, the Leadership Cabinet and Executive Council of the College, and the entire Bergen Community, will be working diligently to grow this newest location into a full branch campus to provide students ways to enhance their skills, complete degree and credit certificate programs, as well as to strengthen and develop a workforce of lifelong learners in southern Bergen County and the surrounding areas!
