Bergen Community College has been challenging its diverse student body to raise questions, examine evidence, validate opinions, and communicate ideas effectively since its suburban campus was founded in 1965. The College is a comprehensive community college that successfully mixes innovation and tradition in creating classrooms and online courses where students are engaged by top-notch faculty and supportive technology.
The Lecturer position is a one semester, full-time, temporary appointment with possibility of renewal. The salary for Lecturers with a Master’s Degree is $18,928/semester and for those without a Master’s Degree is $18,408/semester. For all Lecturer positions teaching experience is preferred unless otherwise noted.
Listed below are our anticipated lecturer position openings for Spring 2009.
Biology: (Job Code L-BIO) (Position located at Lyndhurst location)
Qualifications: Master’s in Biology or related field; ability to teach General Biology, Environmental Biology and Microbiology.
Computer Graphics: (Job Code L-COMPGRAPH)
Qualifications: MFA and professional graphic experience required; ability to teach courses in graphic design, typography and computer graphics applications including Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop.
