Listed below are anticipated adjunct position openings for Spring 2009.

Accounting:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in business related field or CPA license required. 

Applied Music:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Music required to teach applied music courses (guitar, piano, voice, woodwinds). 

Art History:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Art History required to teach Intro to Art and Visual Culture classes. 

Astronomy:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Astronomy or related discipline. 

Biology:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Biology. Must be qualified to teach Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology.

Chemistry:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Chemistry.

Computer Science:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Computer Science.

Dental Hygiene: 
Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene or health related field. Must have current NJ Dental Hygiene license, current CPR certification and minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience. Current clinical dental hygiene practice experience is required as well as knowledge/experience with clinical technologies. 

Economics:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Economics or Business.

English Basic Skills:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in English, Reading or related field and experience teaching developmental reading and writing to community college students. 

English Composition:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in English, Composition and Rhetoric, or related field and a minimum of one year college-level teaching experience in teaching writing. 

ESL (Positions available at the Lyndhurst location)
Qualifications:  Master's degree in English, TESOL or Applied Linguistics and a minimum of one year college-level experience in teaching grammar, reading and writing.

ESL/American Language Program:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in English, TESOL or Applied Linguistics and a minimum of one year college-level experience in teaching grammar, reading and writing.

Geology:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Geology or related discipline.

History: 
Qualifications:  Master's degree in History. 

Mathematics:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Math or Math Education.

Mathematics (Developmental):
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Math or Math Education.

Qualifications:  Master's degree in Math or Math Education.

Meteorology:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Meteorology or related discipline.   

Music:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Music required to teach Music Appreciation. 

Nursing:
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing and current New Jersey RN license required. Clinical instructors needed (2 evenings per week or Saturdays).

Philosophy:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Philosophy required. College-level teaching experience in Philosophy preferred. Must be qualified to teach the following courses: Introduction to Philosophy, Contemporary Moral Issues, Basic Logic, and/or Eastern Philosophy. 

Psychology: 
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Psychology. 

Physics:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Physics.

Religion:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Religious Studies, or in Women's Studies, or in another cognate field required. College-level teaching experience in Religious Studies preferred.  Must be qualified to teach the following courses:  Introduction to Religion, Religions of the World, and/or Women and Religion.  

Sociology: 
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Sociology or related discipline. 

Speech Communication:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Communication, preferably in the area of Speech, as well as minimum of one year College-level teaching experience required. 

Visual Arts/ Computer Graphics:
Qualifications:  MFA degree and professional experience with print or multimedia graphics software. 

World Languages/Arabic:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Arabic Language, Literature or Linguistics required. Must have two years teaching experience (either two years college-level teaching or one year college-level teaching and one year high school teaching experience).

World Languages/Italian:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Italian Language, Literature or Linguistics required. Must have two years teaching experience (either two years college-level teaching or one year college-level teaching and one year high school teaching experience).

World Languages/Latin:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Latin Language, Classics, Literature or Linguistics required.  Must have two years teaching experience (either two years college-level teaching or one year college-level teaching and one year high school teaching experience).

World Languages/Russian:
Qualifications:  Master's degree in Russian Language, Literature or Linguistics required. Must have two years teaching experience (either two years college-level teaching or one year college-level teaching and one year high school teaching experience).
