Responsible for direct individual major/planned gifts fundraising and preparation of special gift and grant proposals. Will oversee individual solicitation on behalf of annual special events; plan and implement stewardship functions for major, planned and annual gift constituencies. Collaborates with Executive Director to plan and execute the Foundation’s annual fundraising plan and ensure that annual goals are met or exceeded.
Required: Bachelor’s degree with three or more years of relevant experience; college fundraising experience preferred. Appropriate aptitude and interpersonal skills required to effectively interact with high net worth individuals and to close major gifts. Documented success in direct major/planned gift solicitation required. The candidate must be a highly motivated professional with a strong work ethic, exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with budget and project development.
