Workforce Development Counselor 
Grant funded position
(Meadowlands location)

Responsible for intake, extended case management, and job-placement assistance for clients at the Meadowlands campus. In addition, the Counselor will work with the Meadowlands campus development team to ensure the program meets and exceeds all outcomes (including recruitment and training) in accordance with the grant guidelines. This position reports to the Director of Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field and two years experience in the case management, social work, or related field. Experience with extended case management and understanding of the NJ public benefits system is a must. Proficiency in MS Office; the ability to work with diverse people facing a multitude of barriers to employment; and excellent communication and organizational skills.
