Computer Requirements

The following is the recommended computer hardware configuration for easy use with WebCT Campus Edition v.6.0.

PC Computer (Windows):

• Pentium-based computer or equivalent (e.g., Celeron or AMD-K6)
• Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP
• 500 MHz or higher processor
• 64MB or better RAM
• 500 MB available hard disk space
• 56k modem connection or better (off-campus dial up) , T1, DSL or Cable connection.

Apple Computer (MAC):

• G3, iMac, or better
• MacOS 8.6 or higher
• 64 MB or better RAM
• 500 MB available hard disk space
• Open Transport installed for Internet connections and the appropriate software (e.g., Remote Access) for modem connections
• 56k modem connection or better (off-campus dial up) , T1, DSL or Cable connection.
