Overview
In an effort to support the growing workforce needs of the region, and to expand employment opportunities for residents, the College unveiled its plans in November 2006 to build a campus at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford. While construction on the permanent campus moves forward, the College is taking the first step to expand its services to the southern part of Bergen County by opening a new facility at 1280 Wall Street West, in Lyndhurst.
The permanent home of Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands is scheduled to open in 2012.
Beginning in the fall, credit classes will be offered along with non-credit courses, certificate and professional development programs in various disciplines including sports marketing, interior design and allied health.
