Mexico’s Marionetas De La Esquina
The Circus / El Circo
In an old covered cart like those which disappeared from main paths many years ago along with the clouds of dust that preceded paved roads, the CIRCUS would arrive at a theater’s empty stage, under the shade of a tree, or at a makeshift platform in the park, and then the fun and excitement began. Marionetas de la Esquina, a puppet theater company from Mexico, has been entertaining children and adults alike since 1975. They perform some shows in English and others in Spanish, and have given more than 11,000 performances. Be entranced by these amazing puppets, as well as by music, color and cheer…and all the surprises of the circus! Note: The morning show will be presented in English and the afternoon show en Español.
Saturday, October 27th, 2007 at 11 a.m. in English and at 2 p.m. en Español Tickets: $10 for adults; $8 for children 17 & under | |
