As founder and front man for the Byrds, and an accomplished singer-songwriter and guitarist, Roger McGuinn is all about traditional music. After nearly a decade with the Byrds, a solo career beckoned in 1973 and Roger has been performing to enthralled audiences ever since.  The Byrds were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and ranked #45 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time.”  McGuinn’s new career took off and by 1981 he was firmly back in his folk roots and touring solo acoustic.  He began recording a series of traditional folk songs in 1994 and uploading them to folkden.com, as part of his home page. This continued monthly and culminated in the 2001 album “Treasures from the Folk Den,” which was nominated for a 2002 Grammy.  In 2004 came Roger’s new studio album, “Limited Edition” and as a “digital pioneer” status he’s released it only via the Internet and at his performances.
