Register for a workshop by clicking on the link titled "Seats Available - Register for the workshop" next to the date of the workshop you are interested in. At the bottom of the revealed description will be a link for you to register, assuming seats are still available.
Registration for CITL workshops is open to all employees and we encourage participation. Please note if you register for a workshop, we assume you have made arrangements with your supervisor (if applicable) to allow for your absence during this time period. If you need to cancel your registration, as a courtesy to the instructor and your colleagues, please give us three working days.
NOTE: If you need special accommodations while attending a CITL workshop, please email us at cit@bergen.edu. The Subject should reference,"Special Accommodation needed." Include full name, and what specifically is needed. Please give us 10 days advanced notice.

Description: Learn how to create and edit your departmental, division or discipline web pages. This is for Web Content Managers and their designees responsible for web page content on the BCC web site. 1 1/2 hours.

Description: Turnitin.com is an Internet-based service intended to help identify and prevent plagiarism. This hands on session will show how you how to use this service in your class. 90 minutes
Description: Query Builder is provided by Datatel to help users create reports or transfer information out of Colleague. How to use QB to create a simple query will be demonstrated. (1 hour)
Description: Learn how to activate a savedlist before running a query, make it promptable, enter more than one query sentence in a query and use advanced options when using output options that create files. 1 hour
Description: A savedlist is a group of records that meet some selected criteria. For example, a savedlist of students in the Nursing Day Program. From running reports to mail-merging, many processes in Colleague require a savedlist so they can be run on select groups. Some ways savedlists are created and used will be illustrated. (1 hour)
Description: Learn how simple it is to use this one button camera for recording course work activities in the classroom. This workshop will discuss the use of a flip camera for validating skills of nursing students and critiquing speeches of students. Participants will create a short video.
