Register for a workshop by clicking on the link titled "Seats Available - Register for the workshop" next to the date of the workshop you are interested in. At the bottom of the revealed description will be a link for you to register, assuming seats are still available.
Registration for CIT workshops is open to all employees and we encourage participation. Please note if you register for a workshop, we assume you have made arrangements with your supervisor (if applicable) to allow for your absence during this time period. If you need to cancel your registration, as a courtesy to the instructor and your colleagues, please give us three working days.
NOTE: If you need special accommodations while attending a CIT workshop, please email us at cit@bergen.edu. The Subject should reference,"Special Accommodation needed." Include full name, and what specifically is needed. Please give us 10 days advanced notice.

Description: Online testing, is it for me? Come and hear about the advantages and challenges of using online testing tools within the WebCT environment. Issues of effective test construction, security concerns and grading strategies will be discussed and strategies for increasing and enhancing effective online assessment explored.
Description: This is designed to cover the fundamentals of advisement and using the tools in WebCT as a means of facilitating communications and collaboration within the mentoring group. This session covers the basic responsibilities of mentoring and advising. The second half will be targeted primarily at faculty who are not conversant with using WebCT. From running reports to mail-merging, many processes in Colleague require a savedlist so they can be run on select groups. Some ways savedlists are created and used will be illustrated. (1 hour)
