Henry and Edith Cerullo
Learning Assistance Center

Henry Cerullo, BCC Foundation Board member since 1994, visited the cramped facilities of the original BCC Tutoring Center while visiting the campus in 1997.  Impressed with the skill and dedication of the BCC tutors, Mr. Cerullo and his wife Edith made a contribution of video hardware and instructional tapes to support the tutors in their work. But their generosity didn’t stop there.

As a BCC Foundation Board member, Mr. Cerullo was aware of the naming opportunities available on the BCC campuses and decided to take advantage of a naming opportunity to support the mission of tutoring activities on campus. The new Henry and Edith Cerullo Learning Assistance Center was formally opened during an April 6, 2006 celebration. The Cerullo’s gift has been placed in an endowment to provide monies to the new center for equipment, software, educational support and awards programs.
