Special Projects

CIT works with faculty and staff to enhance teaching and learning at Bergen Community College. We are interested in funding special projects that understand this mission and will harness technology in the process, whether in the physical or virtual classroom. These projects can be based in an individual discipline, can be cross-discipline and even across departments. CIT would especially like to see proposals that utilize a faculty team approach to development and implementation.

Each proposal goes through a formal process, to ensure they are tied to appropriate goals, objectives and outcomes. Use the project proposal form to start a dialogue with us about your proposed project. Please also see the RFP for Shared Online Materials (SOM's) which was implemented in the 2004-2005 academic year. In additions to new submissions we continue to consider proposals for this type of projects. CIT supports a variety of software to develop instructional materials. In case you need special software for your project you may submit a software request form.
