SD 687 TOEFL (10 sessions) $185
Prepare to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language. Each class consists of study and practice for all three components of the test: listening, comprehension and speaking. This course also increases knowledge of the English language and builds confidence in test taking.

Preparation for SAT’s Verbal and Math (for High School Students)
Studies have shown that the secret to better SAT scores begins with improving math and verbal skills and ends with practice, practice and more practice. This ASK preparatory class will focus on specific skills and applications in accordance with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards. Students will use detailed strategies and alternative techniques to promote success. Practice tests and use of manipulatives as visual aides for abstract concepts in mathematics will be utilized.

CE 872 Algebra Made Easy (6 sessions) $145
Get the extra help you need to do well in Algebra, or enrich your current mathematics knowledge! The class curriculum is designed to review the basic concepts in mathematics for beginning Algebra. The focus is to introduce students to various successful problem-solving strategies and critical thinking. Make x + y = A+ on your next Algebra test!

CE 812 GEPA - It’s as Easy as Pi (3.141592654) (6 sessions) $145 Math can be fun! Improve your skills and test-taking ability in preparation for the Grade Eight Proficiency Assessment, (GEPA), taken in 8th grade. Learn how to approach different types of questions, when to take an educated guess, and how to use your time wisely. Students learn test format and test-taking skills including concentration techniques. The focus of the class is on preparation for the math section of the GEPA, but some time will be devoted to the Language Arts component of the test. Be prepared - the GEPA is administered March 2007. Grades 7–8 only.
