At Bergen, students learn and work in modern computer labs. To enhance the student's learning experience, there is one computer for each student in an INF lab course and class size is limited to 24 students. There is a high-volume laser printer in each laboratory space. Each lab has a teacher workstation connected to overhead projection equipment. All computers have direct broadband Internet access. The College also has an Internet2 connection.

The computer stations currently run the latest version of Windows. Each personal computer provides access to Oracle and UNIX servers and runs a variety of current software; titles may include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C/C++, Java, Visio, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash. Networking classes are taught in fabrication labs. In the hardware construction lab, students disassemble and reassemble PC computers. Scanners, digital still and video cameras, and a student Web server are also available to enhance the student's educational experience. Fully equipped free-time laboratories, open day, evening, and weekend hours, are available for student's hands-on practice. A full-time dedicated MIS staff supports all equipment and labs.

An aggressive maintenance and upgrade program ensures a vibrant, industry-current environment for Bergen Community College students and faculty alike.
